Dumpit at dumpit.tech is a gesture-controlled file-transfer app created by Fadahunsi Miracle at Morden Labs. Connect devices with a private room code, grab selected files with a fist, and open your palm at the connected device to dump them. It works on the same Wi-Fi or across different networks using internet data.

No. Dumpit uses a small signaling service to introduce the devices, but the file contents are not uploaded into Dumpit storage.

No. Open the page, stage a file, create or join a room, and grab it.

Open Dumpit on the devices involved, create or join a private room with its six-digit code, and allow camera access when the handoff begins.

Dumpit does not impose an app-level limit, but very large transfers depend on available storage, browser limits, device memory, and the network path between the devices.

Each ready receiver included when you grab can open a palm to dump their own copy. Wait until the receiving devices are ready before grabbing.

Not necessarily. Dumpit works on the same Wi-Fi or across different networks. The same Wi-Fi is usually faster, especially for large files, and a direct local transfer can avoid using mobile data for the files. Across different networks, sending and receiving use internet data. Room setup and initial hand tracking still need internet access. An internet relay may be used if a direct connection is unavailable. Some networks may still restrict connections.

Wait for the ready-to-dump status before grabbing. If nobody is ready, your selected files stay in place so you can grab again. A receiver who was not ready for a transfer needs a new transfer after it finishes. Select the files again to send another copy.

The room closes for receivers. Files that already arrived can still be saved. Ask the sender for a new room code to transfer more files.

Yes. Dumpit does not charge for sending or receiving files, on the same Wi-Fi or across different networks. Your internet or mobile provider may charge for data used during setup or a transfer.
